Questions and final response:

Question 1 –LONDON ROAD, PURFLEET-ON-THAMES, THURROCK, RM19 1RE I have been informed by London Fire Brigade that you are the correct team to contact regarding this.

We are currently undertaking an environmental assessment of the above site and would be grateful if you could provide us with any details that you hold regarding flammable storage (past and present) located at this site.

The site boundary is marked on the attached plans (attached). Details that would be of interest to us include:

· Any historic or current records of fuel tanks on the site, including Bulk Fuel Installations (BFI); ·

The fuel types stored in the tanks.

· The tank sizes and construction details.

· A plan indicating the location of the tanks.

· Any results of tests undertaken to confirm the integrity of the tanks.

· Any reported spillages or pollution incidents: and

· Current status of the tanks and details of decommission (if applicable).

 Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFRS) can find no records that relate to the above site and the information that you request.

Information for petroleum storage sites in the area that this site is located, would be held by either Essex County Council (ECC) or Thurrock Borough Council (TBC).

ECC/TBC should be approached to request the information that you require.

Additionally, the Environment Agency and the Health & Safety Executive may also hold records relating to the site and should be approached directly.
