Questions and final response: "I am writing to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please provide me with the following information:
Question 1 - The number of calls made to your fire service relating to incidents on Bonfire Night (5th November) for each of the last three years (2021, 2022, and 2023).
Please see attached PDF which contains the data requested.
Question 2 - The number of incidents your fire service actually attended after being called out on Bonfire Night (5th November) for each of the last three years (2021, 2022, and 2023)?
Please see attached PDF which contains the data requested.
Question 3 - The total cost to your fire service of attending firework-related incidents for each of the last three financial years (2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24)?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an exact cost for ECFRS attendance at incidents, this is due to several variables such as number of appliances, crew numbers on appliance etc.
We do use an average figure of the cost of one appliance deployed at an incident for one hour, the average figure for this would be £400.
