No firefighters working for Essex County Fire & Rescue Service have died from a lithium-ion battery fire between April 2022 and April 2023.

Question 2 – How many times have your firefighters come into contact with a vapour cloud?

There is no recorded information to evidence any of our firefighters coming in to contact with a vapour cloud during the specified period.

Question 3– How many fires specifically in recycling centres or scrapyards they you encountered between April 2022 - April 2023 (excluding other waste fires)?

We have no recorded information of Essex County Fire & Rescue Service attending either of the specified type of site. The most recent that we attended of this type was in May 2021.
