Questions and final response:
Question 1 – I am looking for some assistance with your organisation’s Spend/Transparency data, available on the following weblink: http://www.transparency.essex-fire.gov.uk/invoices/Spend_April_2024/
The file available for April 2024 mentions dates that are in the future (see example below).
Can you please clarify if the dates entered in the future are incorrect? If the dates are incorrect, could you provide an updated copy of the file or advise when this will be available online?
Response
The dates in the future are relating to local authority business rates invoices because those costs are relating to the months stated, however we process the invoices at the start of the financial year.
We hope you find this information useful.
