Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request information relating to –

1. The name/s of any planned change and transformation projects or programmes that will have an affect or will involve the HR/People team.

2. Is there is any planned organisational restructure which HR will have an involvement in?

Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFRS) has recently concluded a review which delivered key design principles using a structure with 5 defined areas: Operations, Talent, Partnering, Policy & Practice and Wellbeing & Health. 

ECFRS operates on a transparent basis when it comes to communicating with its employees in matters of organisational transformation. It would not consider communicating on such matters externally before consulting with employees in the first instance. The HR/People function will play a supporting role in all matters regarding organisation structure and change. 

3. In the next/last 6 months, has there or will there be a change of the Senior Leaders in HR?

The Assistant Chief Executive, People Values and Culture role is a development post and the Assistant Director of HR role is a fixed term contract to backfill this vacancy.

4. A copy of the organisation structure chart?
