Questions and final response:

I write in relation to our home, Heath Farm, Stanford Road, Grays, Essex, RM16 4XS to request copies of any records held by Essex Fire Service relating to the property. We are currently researching the history of the house and have been informed by witnesses that there was a fire, causing extensive damage to the house in the late 1950s. We would be grateful to receive any information or copies of such records between 1950 to 1965.

 The Incident Recording System (IRS) that we use holds incidents since 2009. Prior to that incidents where recorded in a paper format. The only incidents we keep a record of in our museum are of large fires that may provide a historical interest. We have checked with our museum who have confirmed that, unfortunately, we do not hold any records of the incident at your property.
