We are collecting information about additional payments to principal managers employed by your fire and rescue service. Below is the information we would like to obtain from you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.


By ‘additional payments’ we mean money paid to fire and rescue service principal managers excluding their basic salary, employer pension contributions and expenses.

 

These payments are sometimes called ‘bonuses’.

By ‘principal managers’ we mean the chief fire officer and any other staff covered by Gold Book pay arrangements. We are not seeking information on staff covered by Grey Book or Green Book arrangements.

1. Have any additional bonus payments been made to fire and rescue service principal managers in the financial year 1 April 2018 - 31 March 2019:

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service have not paid any bonuses to Principal Officers/Managers in 2018/19.

 

2. Please indicate the total amounts of additional bonus payments to fire and rescue service principal managers in the financial year 1 April 2018 - 31 March 2019:
