We are manufacturers of interlocks and controllers for commercial kitchen ventilation. Our controller has an input from the building fire alarm panel. Our default strategy is to stop the ventilation when we receive an alarm signal from the building fire alarm panel. Where a firefighter’s override switch is installed, this would override our controller. Please can you confirm whether this default is correct for your region?
