Question 1 - Can you please advise me how many restaurant premises, including pubs and wine bars, or food service establishments situated in the Frinton on Sea and Kirby Cross areas have had a fire safety audit inspection carried out by your team please, during the past 10 years, and include approximate date of these audit visits?

From August 2020 to present date, 33 Fire Safety Inspection Audits have been completed by Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFRS) at Restaurant and/or Food service establishments with the Frinton and Kirkby Cross areas.

These inspections have been recorded on our current recording system.

These are shown on the attached PDF document.

Prior to our current recording system, from 1st January 2016 to August 2020, a total of 102 Fire Safety Inspection Audits were completed by ECFRS at Restaurant and/or Food service establishments with the Frinton and Kirby Cross areas.

We are unable to provide exact dates for these audits as the information held on the system prior to August 2020 is no longer available.

These are shown on the attached PDF document.

Restaurant and/or Food service establishments include Licensed premises selling alcohol, restaurants, bars, takeaways, grocery shops, Bed and Breakfasts residences, hotels, campsites, and amusements parks. All of these premises can be considered food service establishments

Question 2 - Can you please send me staffing structure for the Protection Department responsible for this area of work please?

The Protection Department covering Frinton and Kirby Cross are part of our North East Group, which is based in Colchester.

This office is staffed with an Office Manager working alongside four Inspecting Officers.
