Question 1 - I am surveying wildlife in the Brightlingsea area and trying to assess the risk to biodiversity by fire. Has there been any risk assessments of the local area i.e. fields or woodlands, ease of access for appliances, high risk areas etc. and if so are you able to give details. I appreciate most of this may be common sense but any comments would be useful
We do perform an environmental risk assessment at incidents.
These risks are then notified to the Environment Agency at the time of the incident.
We are not aware of any risks to biodiversity in the Brightlingsea area.
The Station Manager for Brightlingsea, xxxxxxxxxx has indicated his interest in understanding any risks within the local area and is happy for you to contact him so he can gain an understanding and support where we can.
