The information requested is available on our Transparency website Incident Data (essexfire.gov.uk).

The data for all of the incidents in the wards listed above can be obtained by clicking the button ‘view records for previous financial years’ select from the side category list the year required, you will then be able to download and manipulate the data to the criteria specified in your request.

You can filter the district and further filter the wards, incident category, property type etc.

Notes for the criteria specified :

Tenure – this is not a category of information that is noted by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service. It may be noted in the incident log, in terms of, for example: the attending crew requesting landlord attendance at the scene. Generally, not something we would capture routinely.

Injuries sustained/Death – this is represented on our Transparency Data as Victims. No further information as to the extent of any injuries is captured routinely. Primarily, as Firefighters are not medically trained so any opinions about injuries would be their view and could not be viewed as 100% accurate.

Additionally, any residents that are then transported to hospital and subsequently pass away, this information maybe recorded retrospectively but not mandatory.

We have attached some data that is contained within the Incident Reports for the Thurrock District.

This data shows the incident number, data of the incident and any injuries noted on the incident.

This is from 2019 through to March 2023. You will be able to cross reference these incidents with the data on our Transparency site.
