Question 1 – I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the maintenance systems and associated software used within the service. Specifically, I would like to request the following information: The name(s) of the software used for maintenance management systems (Typically known as CMMS, EAM, Asset Management, Facilities Management) within the service?

Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFRS) use two systems:

Tranman

Concerto

 

Question 2 –The number of users licensed to use the maintenance management system software?

Numbers of users licensed to use, are as follows:

61 users in Tranman

34 users in Concerto

 

Question 3 –The annual cost associated with the maintenance management system software?

Annual costs, are as follows:

£16,000 for Tranman

£18,000 for Concerto

 

Question 4 –The individual or department responsible for managing and overseeing the maintenance management system software?

ECFRS Information Communications Team (ICT) are responsible for managing and overseeing both systems.

 

Question 5 –The expiration date of the current contract(s) for the maintenance management system software?

Dates are as follows:

Expiration date for Tranman is 31/05/2024.

Expiration date for Concerto is 10/07/2024.

 

Question 6 –Additionally, I would also like to request information regarding the following:

The software used to manage the allocation of equipment within the service?

ECFRS use Tranman for the allocation of equipment withing the service.

Question 7 –The software used for maintaining buildings, vehicles, PPE etc?

Software used, as follows:

ECFRS use Concerto for Buildings.

ECFRS use Tranman for Vehicles and equipment.

 

Question 8 –The software used for registering accidents or damages within all equipment or assets owned or leased within the service?

ECFRS use Concerto for registering accidents/damages for all equipment and assets owned or leased within the service.

 

Question 9 –How are failures of equipment, machinery, vehicles, and supplies logged within the service?

ECFRS use Tranman to record failures of equipment, machinery, vehicles, and supplies.

 

Question 10 –Name of software used to ensure equipment, machinery and any other items are fit for use for example periodic testing and calibration, for example fire extinguishers, PPE & vehicles?

ECFRS use Concerto to ensure equipment, machinery and any other items are fit for use, including periodic testing and calibration.
