Question 1 - Please could you list all of the call outs made to domestic homes and businesses due to fires related to electrical hazards between December 2020 – 1st December 2023.

Please may I request that information follow the below outline:

Call out number Date of call out e.g. 16 June 2023 or 16/06/23

Category/cause of emergency e.g. fire caused by portable heater, electrical shock etc. Or equivalent breakdown Related to electrics (Yes/No) - please specify if the incident was related to electricity/electrical issues.

Category of location e.g. Domestic / Business

Type of call out (e.g category 1, 2,3 etc)

Result of call out (e.g fatal/non fatal, sustained injuries etc Or equivalent breakdown)

Please find attached spreadsheet containing the data requested.

Please note that I have considered all types of residential homes, including nursing homes, to be domestic homes.

I have taken places used for commercial activities to be business premises (such as a nightclub, shop, restaurant, etc).

All incidents were classed as Primary Fires as they were reported to have occurred within a dwelling or a building.
