I am curious to know why none of the 3 retained stations (Ongar, Epping & Old Harlow) which were adjacent to the incident at Thornwood on 16/3/19 were not used, but 2 appliances from Hertfordshire were mustered.

The incident you refer to is incident 21996813. Ongar (71P1) was off the run (not available) at the time of call due to no driver being available. Epping (89P1) was attending an alternative incident with Cambs FRS and Old Harlow (82P1) was off the run (not available) at the time of call due to insufficient Firefighters to crew the appliance.
